After-school psycho-educational programs facilitated at Patchogue-Medford High School, Saxton Middle School and South Ocean Middle School. This program provides youth with the knowledge and skills to enable them to make healthy lifestyle choices. This program works towards improving participants’ self-esteem by educating participants on a variety of “hot” topics including: relationship skills, bullying, anger management, healthy decision making and stress management; all essential elements for healthy and productive youth.
After-school program for 4th and 5th grade students facilitated at elementary schools within the Patchogue-Medford School District. The goal of this prevention program is to strengthen the relationships between children, their families and the community. There is a strong emphasis on assisting the students to develop skills and strategies that will help them overcome the challenges that are faced everyday. This program provides children an opportunity to grow and learn about each other, while having fun.
